Anyone know if the glossy screen (OptiClear) LCD monitors eye strain?
I'm looking to buy a new monitor and I'm a market that has "OptiClear technology. This function essentially cleans and sharpens the main screen and can be identified by its bright, compared with the type of traditional matte LCD. Normally, I do not care about the health associated computer equipment, but related or not bright screen instant messaging These monitors have the potential to cause stress to the eyes after long use. I am currently a CRT monitor I had to adjust the brightness as it starts to eye strain after some time. I do not think my eyes to be very sensitive to screen brightness, but perhaps they are. Anyway, I wonder if anyone can give two cents on this subject, especially those who have this style monitor. for the record that I am interested in the NEC Multisync 70GX2 (or perhaps the 90GX2).
All monitors can lead to eye fatigue, but if you read computern eddition March / technology show a standard CRT comparrision ..
