Down Manual
In a cisco router what does a manual interface statsu to say.?
Is it the same as down or administration is different. In my router interface manually companies down and the other is administratively down. This manual is to say?
IIRC, I think down manually indicates that the interface is reduced by a command in the terminal, ie a session on the interface and then manually killed. Administratively down would be one that was returned by the router itself from a script, or during or upgrades or other changes in the state.
